  1. After reading dis blog i came to conclusion that as we all know sir Syed played a vital role in the educational uplift of the Muslims in India. Sir Syed Ahmed Khan established the MAO College which eventually became the Aligarh Muslim University. He opposed ignorance, superstitions and evil customs prevalent in Indian Muslim society. He firmly believed that Muslim society would not progress without the acquisition of western education and science.Pakistan came into existence as a result of the Pakistan Movement, which aimed for the creation of an independent Muslim state in the north-western regions of South Asia via Partition. The movement was led by the All-India Muslim League under the leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. We should remember the great efforts of our leaders who worked day and night for pakistan

  2. The thing which i learnt from this blog is that first of all we should look upto our leaders because they always take those decisions which are better for our nation. In order to build a proper nation we should follow the rules and regulations fixed by our leaders. As we are talking ahout leaders so there has been so many leaders for nation of pakistan as Alama Iqbal awakened the nation through his poetry and just likw that sir syed ahmed khan also awakened the muslims by his activities of Aligarh Movement and also the institutes he made for muslims. Liaqat Ali khan just like others also played a very important role. Muslim League helped muslim to have a clear vision of what they actually needed and waantd and helped them to raise their voices for a separate homeland.

  3. This blog has many important things which are described in it . In start it says that Pakistan has became, now we need to think its development and success. I have found that we as citizens are striving for the betterment of the country in every way but there is need of positive change in political affairs and politicians. Our national leaders who have made many sacrifices for Pakistan have done their job. Now what neends to be done is to improve the conditions of this country and the real meaning of freedom is to make pepole live . The level of change that needs to be made is on individual level beacause each of us needs to make a change that needs to be made is on individual level because each of us needs to make a change in ourselves so that we can learn to respect our pepole. In 1887 , 1897 and 1902 some british colonies get a chance to consult . This idea beacuse popular in Uk. Hindus was trying to make Urdu language dead and it became easy after the death of sir syed an Urdu defence association was set up in Aligarh to convey the demand of Muslims to government another issue was the division of Bengal in 1907 viceroy lord curzon announced that the province of Bengal should divide into two parts Hindus protested against it but it was divided

  4. After reading this blog, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is essential for each and every individual to take part in the betterment and prosperity of their nation. For this purpose, our leaders have set many examples in the past. It is the responsibility of the leaders to create awareness among the people and guide them about what is better for them and what is not. And that is exactly what Sir Syed Ahmed Khan did in his time. He was the first one to realize what problems the Muslims were in, after the arrival of British. As the British took over everything, from the educational system to the change in traditions and customs and how they wanted everybody to follow in their footsteps, it was Sir Syed who guided the Muslims on what to do in this situation. He made them realize the importance of modern education and how only after receiving it they would be able to compete with Hindus and the British. Every individual must have an opinion and education is necessary to have a correct opinion. Now where the Muslims made efforts for their rights, there they also had great leaders all along the way to guide them. Allama Iqbal, Quaid-e-Azam and many other leaders united the people on one platform and became their voice, to fight for their rights. Also, it is necessary to consult people so that they can make the correct decision and choose wisely. With the help of such great leaders and under their guidance, the Muslims worked hard, with determination and in the end finally got their wish for a separate homeland.

  5. The most important events described in Blog “Secrets of life”.
    At the beginning of this episode, Sir Syed was given the title “Sir”. In my opinion, the period 1887-1906 formed the basis of separation of Hindus and Muslims. This period is not much described in our Pakistan Study books.
    Other important topics are as follows
    1. Boycott Congress
    2. Separate electorates
    3. Muhammadan Educational Complex
    4. Period of (1887-1906) importance
    a. Electoral representation (Syed Mahmud)
    b. Sir Syed’s death
    c. New leaders
    Sir syed urge the Muslims to reject congress:
    Congress was formed in 1885. According to Congress leaders, Congress was established to represent all nations of India. The real reason for its establishment was to make India one unit but the reality was contrary to it. While explaining their narrative, they said that British education has taught them to live together in India. It was clear that the real reason behind the hatred and enmity between Hindus and Muslims was the education given to Hindus by the British. But the wise leaders of Muslims could see the hypocrisy of Hindus when they proposed the idea of making India one unit. Hindus knew that the Muslim majority was not much educated at that time and they knew that the uneducated Muslims will never be able to compete with educated Hindus and eventually they will become Hindu slaves and then Hindus will rule them all. When Sir Syed Ahmad Khan was titled as “Sir” in 1887, he was well aware of the whole situation and carefully led the mobs of uneducated Muslims nation. He asked the Muslims to boycott Congress.
    Separate Electorates system:
    In response to the boycott, the Congress leaders got angry and put pressure on the government, which Sir Syed Ahmed Khan considered very useless. He said;
    “This kind of ignition that first started in the United States and as a result, the last word that came out of their mouths was ‘no taxation without representation?’ so those who have the power to say the word should participate in the ignition of this Congress, otherwise they are to be applauded like hedgehogs.”
    The Muslims who were not much supportive of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan before also supported him in this matter. So, the next 20 years were spent focusing on the education and development of the Muslims of the sub-continent.
    Muhammadan Educational complex:
    It was a time in history when other Muslim leaders also joined Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in his efforts. While addressing in a nationwide conference of Muhammadan educational complex in 1892, Maulvi Heshmat Ullah metaphorically links the Muslims with a wall of bricks. The condition of the wall is the same as the condition of its all units. The same is the case of a nation. Because of this educational complex, many schools were established in different areas of India for Muslims. Nawab Mohsin-ul-Mulk also rendered remarkable educational services. In1893, Nawab Mohsin- ul-Mulkin his address cited the incident of Adam and Eve that when they ate the grain in heaven that Allah has prohibited, they became aware of their modesty. He explained that it was a new start for all of the Muslims of India as the Muslims in the sub-continent were getting an education now and they were becoming more aware of their dignity.
    Electoral representation:
    The national Indian congress demanded the right for the elite Hindus to elect their representatives. In 1892, their demand was accepted when the Indian national council Act came in force but the word “election” was not used. The right to choose representative was only given to property holders, universities, and local bodies. Muslims realized that this Law had not given them the right to elect their representatives. Syed Mahmood answered it in a memorandum to the British government.
    “The real purpose of electing representative is to represent the electorate. There is plenty to choose from the Hindu lobby. In this way, it is difficult for Muslims to choose a representative who has similar ideas with them. Muslims should have the right to choose a separate representative who has exactly or almost similar ideas. Muslims so know their hypothetical lawyers.”
    Sir Syed death:
    Sir Syed died in 1898 after that Urdu Hindi controversy again appeared but Muslim leaders dealt with it. In1899, in a meeting of the educational complex, in Calcutta, it was addressed that a new century is about to start. In the next century, new leaders like Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal appeared. In 1906, the Muslim League, a Muslim representation party was established.
    In this blog, “secrets o life” many important events are explained, which are not discussed earlier in books. The seed of hatred had been raised in the period of 1887 to 1906 between two communities. The flaws of educational system of British gave rise to hatred and conflict.

  6. r;
    This episode starts with an event in which sir Syed was titled as “Sir”. The most important thing according to me is that the base for the separation of the Hindus and the Muslims was created in the period of 1887-1906. This period is usually not discussed in our Pakistan Study books. Other important topics are as follow
    1. Boycott Congress
    2. Separate electorate
    3. Muhammaden Educational Complex
    4. What was special about first phase {1887-1906}
    a. Electoral representation {Syed Mehmood}
    b. Sir Syed’s death
    c. New Century ……New leaders
    • Boycott Congress
    In 1885 Congress was established. According to Congress leaders, it talked about all nations in India. However, reality was entirely different. The most obnoxious motive of this party was that the sub-continent should remain as a unit. They cited that the education provided by British government taught them to live together. In fact, it was crystal clear that the hatred and discrimination between the Hindus and the Muslims were the harmful consequences of the education provided by British to the Hindus. Every person with broader vision can understand the self-interests of Hindus behind their demand of India as a unit. They knew that Muslims were not educated, and if everything controlled by the Hindus that time, generations of the Muslims would not be able to compete with the Hindus in education and government sectors. Eventually the Muslims would become Hindus’ slaves and the Hindus would rule in India.
    Sir Syed Ahmad Khan was tilted as sir in 1887. He was aware of the whole situation and carefully guiding the mobs of uneducated Muslims nation. He requested Muslims to boycott Congress. One reason was that there was still a lot of anger and suspicion in the hearts of British because of 1857.
    • Separate Electorate
    In response of the boycott, the Congress resorted to agitation to put pressure on the government, which sir Syed considered very futile. He said;
    “This kind of ignition that first started in the United States and as a result the last word that came out of their mouths was ‘no taxation without representation?’ so those who have the power to say the word should participate in the ignition of this Congress, otherwise they are to be applauded like hedgehogs. “
    When the Muslims who were against him in previous cases, supported him in this matter. So, the next 20 years were spent focusing on the education and development of the Muslims and on uniting the cultural forces.
    • Muhammaden Educational complex
    It was a time in history were other Muslim leaders appear along with Sir Syed Ahmad khan.
    In 1892 while addressing in a nationwide conference of Muhammaden educational complex, Maulvi Heshmat Ullah metaphorically link the Muslims with a wall which is made up of bricks. The condition of wall is the condition of its all units and bricks pass through phases with wall. Same is the case of a nation. It passes through phases of changes with its individuals. Because of this educational complex many schools sprang up in different areas of India for Muslims. Nawab Mohsin ul Mulk also rendered remarkable services in this regard.
    In an address in 1893, Mohsin ul Mulk said;
    “Whether prophet or reformer of the nation, God has made it a rule for everyone that their inner selves have to go through many stages to reach their destination; I cannot hope to see the result of those who ae not patient.”
    • First phase {1887-1906}
    Nawab Mohsin ul Mulk later on the successor of Sir Syed, in 1893, in an address cited the incident of Adam and Eve, when they ate prohibited grain in heaven, they became aware of their modesty. Muslims in sub-continent were getting education and becoming aware of their dignity, status and well-being. According to him it was a new beginning
    o Electoral representation
    The national Indian congress demanded the right for the elite Hindus to elect their representatives. There demand was accepted in 1892 when Indian national council Act came in force, but the word “election” was not used. The right to choose representative was limited to property holders, universities and local bodies.
    Muslim felt that Law had not given them the right to choose their representative. An answer to that was given by Syed Mahmood in a memorandum to British government.
    “the real purpose of electing representative is to represent the electorate. There are plenty to choose from Hindu lobby. In this way, it is difficult for Muslims to chose representative who have similar ideas with them. Muslim should have right to choose separate representative who have exactly or almost similar ideas. 7. ایک ایسا معاشرہ جہاں آزادی کی تاریخ کا گلہ گھونٹ کر اسے بڑے اہتمام کے ساتھ دفن کردیا گیا ہو اور پھر اس کے سالانہ عرس کے موقع پر یا درمیان میں آنے والے کچھ مخصوص ایام اور تہواروں پر کچھ تقریبات منعقد کرکے جھوٹ کی قوالیاں الاپی جاتی ہوں۔ ایک ایسا معاشرہ جہاں بانیانِ قوم کی تعلیم، نظریات اور اصولوں کو بالائے طاق رکھ کر اور آئین و قانون کو روند کر حکمران بن جانے والوں کے کاسہ لیس اور درباری دن رات تارٰیخ کا حلیہ بگاڑنے میں مصروف ہوں اور غاصب حکمرانوں کے اشارہِ ابرو پر نصاب کی کتابوں میں تحریف شدہ مواد “مطالعہِ پاکستان” کے نام پر شامل کردیا جاتا ہو وہاں پر خرم علی شفیق صاحب قومی تاریخ کے مزار کی تہوں سے حقائق برآمد کرنے میں مصروف ہیں۔ ان کی یہ کتاب “آزادی” بھی قوم کیلئے ایک تحفہ ہے جس طرح بانیانِ پاکستان کی طرف سے آزادی کی شکل میں قوم کو تحفہ دیا گیا تھا۔

    1. محمد مشہود قاسمی آپ نے بہترین اور نپے تلے الفاظ میں حقائق کا احاطہ اور سر خرم علی شفیق کی مخلص کاوشوں کو خراج پیش کیا ے۔ میں آپ سےمکمل طورپرمتفق ہوں۔
